WHAT IS EXPECTED OF A LOCAL OVERALL WINNER: The queen can compete in other systems while holding a Local Cinderella Title. They are to conduct themselves with the dignity of the important title they hold. Failure to proceed to the State Pageant for the Overall Winners (Exception: Illness or an act of God) will cause automatic forfeiture of the title and all rights thereof. You must return your overall banner, crown, and trophy to your local director so that she can pass it on to the 1st Alt. This rule is being implemented so that young ladies that are interested in the local Overall title and competing at the State Pageant do not have that opportunity taken away from them by a participant that is not going to fulfill their obligation by representing their Local Pageant at the State Pageant. The title will not have to be relinquished if the winner gives reasonable notice and the circumstances for NOT attending are deemed unavoidable by the directors: however, the 1st alternate would then be eligible for the scholarship entry fees. IMPORTANT: If you know that you are not going to be competing at 2010 Colorado Cinderella State Pageant, you can compete at the Local Pageant for the Beauty Title and Photogenic.
